Thanks, @downey, for noting the dire need of/for @osuosl. @conservancy (where I work) helps projects w/ nonprofit infrastructure. We don't need to offer server hosting *b/c* OSU OSL exists. SFC projects like @inkscape & others rely *every day* on Lance & his team.

What's more, Lance is training the next generation of FOSS system infrastructure engineers โ€” slowly becoming a lost art to proprietariness since the knowledge is increasingly locked in big hosting companies.

Decided to put a CFP in re:some of my recent research for @conservancy upcoming FOSSY25. CFP has been extended to May 5th, so get those proposals in! https://2025.fossy.us/call-for-proposals/

Our Executive DIrector @karen gave a talk about when to say no to funding at #FOSDEM25. While the financial climate is so difficult for FOSS projects and foundations, it's never right to compromise values or undermine your main goals to take in funding.

Denver talks about making the #OpenWrtOne, software freedom and SFC.

@joncruz This sounds like a great idea. Definitely keep us posted as to what you design!

Caught Denver's keynote regarding the and ended up ordering one after getting my hands on the ones at the @conservancy booth.

The aesthetics struck me as needing some tweaks to fit into my home, so I figure I can design case/covers to fit it and help with its wider apeal.

Any places i should contact as I get going?
